Helicopter with round space suitable for mounting a coin is made of Alabama clay and measures approximately 6 1/2" wide and 4" high. Round area measures approximately 1 1/2".
Each piece of work is formed by the artist from the Alabama clay that is shaped into unique handmade art that is as varied as the clay it came from. Coloring of off-white and orange brown swirls distinguish each piece from the other.
These are the works of Karen Stewart, daughter of Carl Stephens, who originally founded Carl’s Clays.
Alabama clay for these beautiful pieces is taken from a creek bed in the Coosa River in Wetumpka, AL.
